Scene through a tire

I captured this photo when in the back seat of an uber, driving up a major road through Dansoman.  I was amused to see his head visible though a round tire. Luckily we weren’t moving too fast so I could get it.

There are plenty of tires here in Accra – tons of them really, being sold in front of shops like this one on the main thoroughfare, in the multitude of market places, and even on isolated back roads next to homes.

Due to the heat and the condition of the roads, I would think tires don’t last very long at all.
