Fisherman of Winneba Ghana

This is one of my favorite photos of this man working to catch fish on the coast of Ghana. With only a rag to protect his hands from the rough bite of the thick rope he’s holding taut and pulling hard, along with 7 or 8 other men doing the same.

Other boats are behind him, with men getting ready to go out into the ocean and drop another net.
