It’s not even 10a.m. and yet these men have been working hard for hours, even before the sun is fully up you will find them on the beach holding onto a thick twined rope as a boat shoves off, taking the net out into the ocean spooling out the rope to one line of men.
The net has been pulled in, emptied of it’s captured treasures, folded precisely and slung over their shoulders and looped around arms.
In the background, the womyn are gathering around another group of fishermen, sorting through their net for what fish they will buy, then deciding what to sell, what to grill, what to eat.
I also noticed every group of fishermen handing fish to a few people who appeared to need something to eat.
